I’ve played at roughly 250 weddings in and around the East Midlands, for couple’s wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions and sometimes wedding breakfasts so I feel like I’ve got a pretty good handle on venues. As wedding suppliers, we definitely have our favourite venues to work at. For me it’s all about the acoustic, access and whether the staff will sneak me a canape or two!

That's right, I mentioned the C-word - Christmas! It's creeping up on us and with lockdown lasting until 2nd December there's no better time to get started on your gift shopping. I've collated 7 of my favourite (female founded) small businesses who are all online and offering something unique. Take a look...!  Although I lived in Rutland for over 20 years, it took me a good 17 to get inside Normanton Church, and I have never looked back. Able to hold up to 3 weddings a day, it's no surprise this iconic venue is so popular. Let me give you my reasons why I love Normanton Church Weddings. My aim has always been to raise the majority of the money through live music but since lockdown, I have shifted this fundraising online. I am now thrilled to announce the big final push event to get over the £5k mark...  This evening, Tuesday 23rd June 2020, Covid Classics came to an end. After 100 days of 15 minute concerts live on Facebook & Instagram, it was time to draw this project to a close. However, I have received so many messages and comments from you amazing people out there who just don't want Covid Classics to come to an end that I am so thrilled to announce a new project: Covid Concerts!
