Virtual Musicathon in aid of Dementia UK

Many of you will know that I am in the middle of a fundraising campaign for Dementia UK. My target is £5000 and I am so close! My aim has always been to raise the majority of the money through live music but since lockdown, I have shifted this fundraising online. I am now thrilled to announce the big final push event to get over the £5k mark...

Introducing: The Virtual Musicathon in aid of Dementia UK

8 hours of continuous live music

When?
Saturday 22nd August 2020
​10am-7pm

You will need to like my Facebook page, and everything will be streamed on there.

Who?
The joy of having a virtual event is that the number of people who can take part is massive. So I am thrilled that we have artists from Rutland, London, Scotland and Canada taking part! These include:

How?
Every artist will have 1 or 2 25 minute slots throughout the day and these will be streamed live on Facebook.

 A link to the JustGiving page will be visible at all times so you will be able to donate anytime!

Why?
The Musicathon in Oakham Castle has been a wonderful annual event for the last 3 years. It has been a huge challenge to bring over 50 musicians together for 6 hours of live music but it has given joy to so many people. Dementia UK is a charity very close to my heart and I know how much they have been in need during lockdown.
