Music is such an important part of your wedding, it's a chance to put your personal stamp on your day. Whether it's a piece your parents had at their wedding, or the first song you heard as a couple of perhaps something that means a lot to you, it's up to you!

I've performed at over 100 weddings with plenty of very personal music choices and I've narrowed it down to my top 10 (in no particular order!) songs for your wedding ceremony.

I'm incredibly aware that I am writing this during a global pandemic AND during a national lockdown when we're essentially forced to stare at the same four walls all day. So how on earth do you keep date night going during these tough times? I've put together a few ideas below...

Although I have lived in Rutland for almost 20 years, it took me a good 17 to get inside Normanton Church, and I have never looked back. Able to hold up to 3 weddings a day, it's no surprise this iconic venue is so popular. Let me give you my reasons why I love Normanton Church Weddings.

Faye Cornhill Photography; Faye Cornhill Coaching; Faye Cornhill Podcaster; Faye Cornhill Author. However you have come across this remarkable woman, she will have undoubtedly had a positive impact on you. Welcome!

Welcome to the blog of Harriet Flather Musician!

I’ve wanted to do this for a while and now feel I have found sufficient inspiration to deliver content that you will find interesting and engaging! I’m hoping to cover a lot of different things here: a description of my week and give you an insight into the life of a freelance musician; some resources for music teaching; information on weddings such as music and why you should have a harpist; and finally I’m going to be bringing in some guests to chat to you about what they do as well!

I hope you enjoy, writing is a fairly new venture for me but it’s good to be back in the proverbial saddle.
