One of my favourite things about working in the wedding industry is meeting other suppliers, and when I met Rebecca back in January I knew I wanted to know more about her businesses - Parsons Occasions and Stamford Tableware Hire. Was it her incredible showroom that also doubles as her home and workspace, or was it how open she was about working in a freelance world? Read on to find out more...

One of the best things for me is when my friends are also suppliers – such is the case with Vicki of Paisley Flower Company. I have known Vicki for years through her brother, a school friend, but we’ve never actually worked on the same wedding! A few weeks ago we sat down for a couple of iced coffees and chatted about how it all began for her and flowers.
Pickleberry Flowers is the most amazing floristry business, based in Leicestershire and run by my gorgeous friend, Isobel Cole. Isobel and I met back in 2014 when she was maid of honour and I was bridesmaid at my brother’s wedding. Since she then moved to Leicestershire, we've struck up a real friendship and I adore her work so much that there was no question I would ask her to be our wedding florist! While Isobel is mother to twin boys, the name Pickleberry was inspired by her dachsunds, who she calls “the girls”! Pickles and Nelly are absolutely gorgeous, and so affectionate (and I am 100% not biased…. but I do really want one!)
