I have been playing the harp since 2004 when I saw a picture of one at school and thought it looked pretty!
After studying at The Royal College of Music Junior Department with amazing teachers, I eventually chose to study the clarinet full time at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. On graduating and entering the world as a professional musician, I moved back to Rutland where I grew up. This is where I rediscovered my love for the harp and at my first wedding booking for a family friend, I found how much I love weddings.
I feel so privileged to be booked for a wedding or any event. You put such faith and trust in my abilities, and it shows that you want to make your event unique. So many of your guests will never have seen a harp up close; I may be biased but it's pretty beautiful!
I have been described as a "creative beast" by Michael Collins, world-renowned clarinettist, and always put my heart and soul into all my performances. I have been lucky enough to perform for audiences including The Vamps, Michael Parkinson, Her Grace The Duchess of Rutland and His Majesty King Charles III. Harriet was amazing from the day we first met at a wedding fair. To when we said goodbye after her magnificent playing at our drinks reception. |
