I am absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news with all of you: I am now officially a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Musicians! It's been quite a journey, and I'm eager to shed some light on what this prestigious title means and how I got here.

I’ve played at roughly 250 weddings in and around the East Midlands, for couple’s wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions and sometimes wedding breakfasts so I feel like I’ve got a pretty good handle on venues. As wedding suppliers, we definitely have our favourite venues to work at. For me it’s all about the acoustic, access and whether the staff will sneak me a canape or two!
I had the immense privilege of playing for over 50 weddings and events in 2022, an unprecedented amount. As you can imagine, the requests for harp covers at the weddings were hugely varied, but there were a few songs which I played time and again. These songs really work as harp covers for your wedding and I can highly recommend choosing one or all of them!
Planning a wedding is a big task, no matter how organised you are, there’s still a lot of tasks to complete! But, if you choose the right suppliers, then all should run smoothly on the day!
I got married in October 2022 on a glorious sunshine filled October day, and I’d love to share our suppliers with you! It’s always wonderful to be asked to be part of a styled shoot, but when it’s featured in a wedding blog, it’s an even better feeling!
