Ever wondered what makes people tick? I think about it all the time - but rarely with myself. So, I sat down and asked myself some questions about me... What is your dream place to live? So tricky this one. I would love to live in New York, but I'm not sure how long I could do it for. One day I'd like to make the move back to Glasgow but for now, I think I'm going to go wild and say Paris. Who would you have at your ideal dinner party? Of my friends I'd like people who have some things in common, but could have really thought provoking conversations. Of course, if I could choose anyone it would be Frank Sinatra, Grace Kelly and James Stewart. With Winston Churchill joining for after dinner. Would would you like to see perform live? Where to start? Bruno Mars, Adele, Rod Stewart (again), Barbara Streisand, Sierra Boggess, Martha Argerich, Andreas Ottensammer…. Who is your favourite artist? Again, so difficult. I am not drawn to one particular artist, although there are of course many that I adore. I am drawn to pieces that make me think, draw me in and leave me wondering how many limbs I'd have to sell just to look at it every day. Where is your ideal minibreak? Paris, every time, You've won £10 million. How do you spend it? I would save at least half for starters. Then I would give a chunk to charity, pay off my parent's mortgage, buy myself a Lyon and Healy harp, complete my saxophone and clarinet collection and then take myself off on a lovely holiday. I'd probably also pay for Rod Stewart to play at my wedding... What is your go-to self-care treat? Books and a bath. Baking. Spending time outside (especially if it's windy) or looking at houses. It's the best! What is your favourite plate of food? Roast beef, 2 Yorkshire Puddings (with the option of more), cauliflower cheese, leeks, roast potatoes, broccoli, gravy. Fish fingers on the side. Where is your happy place? Sitting on the bench outside my parents' house. What is your favourite book? Toss up between Pride and Prejudice or The Sun Hasn't Fallen From The Sky. What's your go-to alcoholic drink? Anything! I'm joking...... gin, rum and lemonade, prosecco or wine. If I really had to choose, prosecco. What is your favourite movie? Again, a toss up. Saving Mr Banks, Local Hero, Skyfall or Pretty Woman.... depends what mood I'm in! What is your guilty pleasure? White chocolate cookies dipped in milk while watching The Famous Five. I also love a good re-read of Malory Towers. What is your most important value in a person? Loyalty, every time. Who has your allegiance in sport? Leicester Tigers. I don't think my brother would speak to me again if I said anything else! What is your craziest purchase? A bonsai tree, thinking I could keep it alive. Closely followed by an impulse holiday to New York, which turned out to be the best trip of my life. Depends on your definition of crazy. What is your perfect day?
Wake up to a cup of tea from my boyfriend, a lazy morning with maybe a peruse around town, a National Trust property and then settling down to a good film. What is your top "what did I just do" moment? I was only 5 but probably the moment I pushed someone off the roundabout at school and they cut their head on the brick wall.... What is your dream car? I have a 3 car dream - a Land Rover Defender, an Aston Martin DB10 and an estate car for the harp. How do you take your coffee? Strong. Either white, latte or mocha. What's one thing you would change about yourself? My super slow metabolism! Who is your idol of the past? Winston Churchill. He may have had his faults (who doesn't?) but what kind of determination leads a man to wake up every day and spend hours building a wall for a year? What is your most binge worthy series? xoxo. Gossip Girl. What's one thing you couldn't live without? I challenged myself with this one... probably my hearing. I feel like I could get through life without a lot of other things, but not that. So what do you think of my answers? I tried to be as truthful as possible! Is there anything else you'd like to know the answers to? Harriet x

I think that this really tells a lot about your personality. As one of your longest fans, I pretty much know the answer to most of these questions, but there are some that came as a shock to me. As a fan, I really enjoyed getting to know you more. If you ask me, there are lots of people who would not have answered these questions, so I appreciate that you are transparent with your fans. I hope to keep being a fan of yours in the future.

The question about money is always a good one and I love that you care about your parents and you want to pay their mortgage. This really shows that you have a lot to give to people. I haven't seen this blog before and first time getting here, I will bookmark and come back here again. Thanks
