6 Tips for Your Wedding Ceremony Entrance

Your wedding entrance is a bit of moment… a big moment.

But I want to take the pressure off.

I remember when I got married, I chose the most epic piece of music which made me feel amazing, I was in a stunning dress, I was with my father and the whole Chapel was filled with flowers.

But the thing I remember most is walking towards my husband-to-be and just focusing on his face. Because, at the end of the day, that’s all that matters.

So as a bride who’s already done the aisle walk, read on for some of my top tips.

1 - Don’t stress. Choreographing the bridesmaids’ entrances is something you’ll worry about but then forget in a minute’s time.

2 - Choose a piece of music that makes you walk taller. This is a big moment. But it’s all about YOU. So choose music that makes you feel amazing, life your head up and walk like the gorgeous human you are.

3- Look straight ahead. You’ve got all day to look at your guests but this is your last walk as a single person.

4 - Smile! Yes it’s a bit nerve wracking, but even if you fake smile to cover those nerves, the photos will make you look like someone who’s excited to get married, not someone who’s dreading it.

4 - Walk slow… but not too slow. That two step pause thing is so unnatural and any photographer worth their salt will be able to get good photos however you walk.

5 - Book a harpist to set the scene! You knew it was coming! I’ve had so many couples tell me that hearing their favourite music played by someone who felt like a friend settled their nerves and set the scene immediately.
