A&M

Wedding, Crown Hall Farm

Well what is there to say other than Harriet was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her professionalism and talent was nothing short of perfection. Her music bought such a sense of beauty to our day and everyone commented on how fantastic and special it was to have her there. I was worried that she wouldn’t be able to play the song I wanted for me to walk down but she absolutely smashed it and we couldn’t have been happier. If you’re wondering whether it is worth it to have a live harpist play, do it, it is magical and will be something I remember for many many years.

The Story

A&M enquired through Bridebook and booked almost instantly. The bride had mentioned how excited she was to have a harpist play at her wedding, and they were so appreciative on the day. Their wedding was very intimate and their guests were so lovely, asking lots of questions about the harp and the music. This wedding was my first of many visits to Crown Hall Farm in Lincolnshire, a delightful venue!

A&R

Wedding, Chatsworth House

Absolutely brilliant, you really made our ceremony and drinks reception special. We could not have asked for more, we would definitely book you again.

The Story

I met A&R at a wedding fair and when they told me their venue was Chatsworth, I said “what, the actual Chatsworth?!” - I couldn’t believe it. Their wedding day came just before the pandemic of 2020 and was memorable for more reasons than one. It was so traditional - men in morning suits, beautiful local flowers from the Chatsworth Estate, and live music. The staff at Chatsworth were incredible, looking after me so well, which goes a long way!

S&J

Wedding, Oakham Castle

Harriet was amazing from the day we first met at a wedding fair. To when we said goodbye after her magnificent playing at our drinks reception.

Harriet was very welcoming and really seemed excited to be part of our day, which is amazing as it gets you even more excited. She also provided an extra guide that has some of her favourite suppliers and provided us with some great people to work with.

Obviously, we choose Harriet for her musical ability. Which was out of this world! She calmed down the groom by playing his chosen music before the ceremony, before then bringing the emotions when the bride walked down the aisle.
She had everyone tapping their feet and having a little shimmy whilst enjoying the drinks reception and made time to speak to any guest who had interest in her playing.
I would thoroughly recommend picking Harriet for that extra special touch for your day. The sound of the harp is perfect for a wedding and the way Harriet plays only magnifies this.
Thank you again Harriet!

The Story

I met S&J at a wedding fair about a year before their wedding. When it turned out that the groom had been at school with my husband, we hit it off right away. Their wedding at Oakham Castle was one of my highlights of the year - the music had such an effect on both of them, calming the groom down before the ceremony and setting the right atmosphere throughout. I also had the best day working with some of my favourite suppliers - it’s always lovely when you work with your friends!
